By now you’ve probably also heard about the danger of VOCs,
or volatile organic compounds, in popular paints and primers. VOCs
are toxic in high doses and there are some people who are actually
allergic to them. As the paint ages, these chemicals leech out
into you home’s air via a process called off-gassing. Not
that, but paste and paint can chip or crumble into dust over time
and then, in turn, be inhaled by you and your loved ones. If you’re
concerned about the dangers of VOC, consider switching to eco-friendly
paints and adhesives now available from a variety of sources. These
products are usually comparable in price to or slightly more expensive
than their non-green counterparts. Also, when looking for a faux
finishing product, consider a safer option like American Clay plaster
as it’s made from natural clay, recycled aggregates, and
natural pigments.

Benjamin Moore, one of the most established traditional paint companies,

flat latex, semi-gloss latex and enamel sheens for your interior
paint project.
BioShield Natural Paints
BioShield is dedicated to manufacturing solvent free painting products

chemicals, toxins or additives. Their lines of natural paints and

Duron Paints
Duron is one of the most well known painting manufacturers today.
