INTERIOR DOORS
|
Hardwood Interior Doors
One of the most common materials implemented by homeowners, solid
hardwood doors add a sumptuous yet classic look to your home design.
These hardwoods are stained and sealed to provide a protective covering.
Alternately, you can choose to paint your door to match your room’s
interior.
Choose from popular woods such as poplar, mahogany, oak, maple, cherry,
ash and walnut. For the eco-conscious ask us about using bamboo or
other sustainable materials to help protect the environment.
Raised Panel Doors
A raided panel interior door can have either horizontal or vertical
raised panels. Arches and panel designs are quite diverse and range
from simple to ornate. These classic doors are most commonly used
as bedroom, bathroom, and closet doors. Use solid hardwood with a
simple finish for the warm look of natural wood, or paint raised
panel doors to match your home’s décor.
Flat Panel Doors
Flat panel doors offer a more streamlined look than the more common
raised panel doors. This type of door looks particularly striking
as a solid wood with a clear finish, but many also choose to paint
the door according to their home’s overall color scheme. Whichever
finish you choose, flat panel doors’ clean look can provide
a dramatic flare to any room.
French Doors
French doors add a touch of unparalleled elegance to your home and
are perfect for closing off an addition or adding a dramatic delineation
between a living and family room. Using a standard glass or even
beveled or grooved glass French door can be a sophisticated choice
as it lets light in while still providing an elegant room divider.
Bifold Doors
Bifold doors are perfect for closets and pantries. A bifold door
is basically a pair of doors that fold to one side—or even
a set of four doors with a split in the center in which each set
of two doors fold back to each side. Since they don’t swing
out into the room, they take up less valuable space, making them
invaluable in crowded kitchens and space-hungry bedrooms.
Mirrored Doors
Mirrored doors are basically flat or raised panel doors with a built-in
mirror on one or both sides. They’re ideal for bathrooms and
bedroom closets as they save valuable wall-space while providing
a full-length mirror exactly where you need it.
V-Groove Doors
V-groove doors have a rustic tongue-and-groove appearance that looks
like a traditional plank door. This type of door looks particularly
good in a home with a Southwestern or Western interior design.
Vented and False Louver Doors
Nothing adds more architectural style than a louver door. These painted
or natural wood doors have louvers that permit ventilation, making
them perfect for closets and laundry rooms. If you love the plantation-style
look of louvers but can’t sacrifice privacy, consider false
louvers. False louvers are also available in exterior grade.
Dutch Doors
Dutch doors have a separate top and bottom doors that can swing open
and shut independently. (Usually the top door is opened while the
bottom shut so that items can be passed through.) Choose from flat
or raised panels for these traditional and fun doors.
