GEO-THERMAL HEAT PUMPS

MyHome introduces the revolutionary direct exchange geo-thermal
heating and cooling technology. Standard refrigeration tubing is
used because of its high thermal conductivity.
The loops are designed
in three
different configurations (horizontal, vertical and diagonal) to
meet most new and retrofit applications. This allows for the selection
of the most economical loop configuration for each installation.
Geo-thermal heat pumps use the ground, rather than outside
air, to provide heating and cooling. Geo-thermal heat pumps work
like this: pipes or coils are installed beside your home in one
of four ground loop styles—vertical, horizontal, slinky
and pond. A liquid is then piped through the loop to pick up
heat from
the
ground during the winter or to deliver heat to the ground in
summer. Geo-thermal heating and cooling is energy and cost efficient
and
since no fossil fuel resources are burned, there are no emissions,
making it a clean choice as well. Not only that, but these systems
about 30% less energy than a standard heat pump and are much
quieter than conventional systems.
