The Founding of MyHome
The two founders of MyHome, Yoel Piotraut and Mayan Metzler, met when
working for a local New York City flooring company. Mayan was a sales
representative and Yoel was a project manager. The two became partners
with Mayan selling
the jobs and Yoel managing them. With this distribution of tasks, they
set off to open their own construction company. At first,
they were regular contractors. It was only after a year in business that
their vision began to develop. While working in New York City, they recognized
the
need for an established renovation services construction company. Renovation
can be extremely involved, complex and time-consuming and most busy New
Yorkers simply don't have the time or the experience for it. The average
New Yorker
doesn't want to make a kitchen or bathroom remodel his life's work. There
had to be a way to turn renovation from a time-consuming and mind-boggling
project
into an enjoyable and easy experience. This kind of thinking formulated
their vision. With this new concept, MyHome was born.
Developing Presentation
The first thing they developed was presentation. This process is called
branding. The company was branded using patriotic red, white and blue,
with the "M" in the MyHome logo forming a star. This presentation
is used today on every piece of our literature and promotional items,
our vehicles, showroom -
and everywhere possible. Manhattan residents are beginning to know and
recognize our brand and logo. MyHome's dream of becoming a recognized
brand is turning into reality.
Building a Top Notch Remodeling Team
Presentation was followed by building a core team and our first showroom. The
team was - and still is - created from the finest, most dedicated and hardest
working entrepreneurs. Our vibes and special energy are immediately felt by
everyone who comes in contact with the MyHome team. Teamwork, motivation and
dedication to our clients are fundamentals shared by everyone who has joined
this unique team. The location of our first showroom is another great story.
It is located near several businesses, which are complement MyHome. Broadway
Carpet offers MyHome's clients a full line of carpeting, area rugs, tile, and
much more. Ajo Lumber provides MyHome with everything we need - when we need
it.. Ajo's basement is a custom wood shop where My Home can have manufactured
custom doors, moldings, radiator covers, wood windows, counter tops, cabinets,
and any other custom need our clients may have. The showroom was built in accordance
with MyHome's innovative concept and image. It serves MyHome's clients well
for both the design process and the materials selection process.
Today
Today, MyHome is an established, well-oiled machine. We have served thousands
of satisfied clients during the last few years. MyHome has consistently grown
at a quick and steady pace. Each year, we serve more clients and new members
join our growing team of fine professionals. The more the company grows, the
better our service becomes. Cutting edge technological innovations allow MyHome
to introduce new remodeling products and services on a daily basis. |
