Situated in one of the Garden State’s most affluent
neighborhoods, lies this complete and all-inclusive construction
job in Ridgewood, NJ. We began this project from the ground
up, quite literally, starting with a full demolition to create
a clean slate on which to build this five-bedroom home with
modern fusion touches.
MyHome NJ construction team was called to task to create this
home from scratch, working directly with renowned architect
Jordan Rosenberg to erect the new American Shingle Style home
based on the clients’ specifications.
The initial steps in this process represent MyHome’s
devotion to the Design-Build philosophy in which we work under
the supervision of design professionals to retain the integrity
and spirit of the entire architectural concept from imagination
to actualization.
Once we’ve completed the structural necessities of this
project, everyone involved was quite pleased with how quickly
the project came together—with windows and siding adding
texture and breathing life into what was once a conceptual
plan. While the stunning beauty of the outer shell might call
a carpenter’s gothic to mind, rest assured that the
entire MyHome team planned this home to tender only the highest
level of aesthetic brilliance and spatial comfort both inside
and out.

Once our NJ team completed the
outer layers, we began filling in the heart, offering wonderful
interior design contrasts from the deluxe modern flooring to old
world accents like the opulent chandeliers that add both light and
sparkle to enhance the overall living experience.
Custom work abounds in this design marvel with sleek, streamlined
finishes such as hardwood inlay borders and marble highlights, modern
but earthy color schemes, and uniquely stylized cabinetry that offers
only the highest level of creativity for this modern fusion design
concept.
The kitchen design offers space, utility, and luxury all in one
package with plush natural fibers, detailed curvature in the woodwork
beneath the countertops, and the high gloss of stainless steel in
the contemporary, cutting-edge appliances.
True to form, the bathroom work is equally impressive, spreading
through one spa room, three full bathrooms and one half bathroom.
All vanities were imported as well, offering the MyHome international
touch so sought after in both suburban and urban markets alike.
Expert tile work and marvelous detailed ceramic extend throughout
the bathroom into the overall design gestalt of the entire house,
which combines all the streamlined minimalism of modern design with
the natural touch that offers tinges of that classical and, hence,
timeless appeal.
The living room spaces as well retain the energy and precision of
the rest of the design offering the luxurious feeling one might
expect when building a space based entirely on the imagination of
the homeowner, designer, and architect. Without the restrictions
of a preexisting space all of our creative team members were allowed
to dream wildly. What they came up with however is a model that
dares the imagination while showing the restraint and exquisite
power of the truly artful hand.
While living, sleeping, and dining areas offer all that any homeowner
can dream of from Hell’s Kitchen to Hoboken, the true denouement
of this project is the gas fireplace for frosty nights at home.
This final touch promises to be the centerpiece of almost every
season, providing ambiance for entertaining on chilly April nights
to those magical holiday moments that cluster the family around
the hearth to stave off the deep winter’s cold.
In total, the Ridgewood, NJ project demonstrates the full range
of MyHome’s construction and design capabilities, running
the gamut from concept to delivery for these lucky NJ homeowners.
By implementing the age-old Design-Build concept with a modern flair,
we were able to redefine customer service by cultivating the most
intimate dreams of our clients and bringing them into full bloom
in the most streamlined and efficient way possible. A true jewel
in the crown of MyHome’s achievements, this Bergen County
project proves once again that the way home is neither too far nor
too difficult to find.
