Customized Design

Material Quality
You should confirm that you’re dealing with reputable brand
name products with product warranties that will be honored if necessary.
But, be careful if you are purchasing your materials from one of
the large home furnishing chain stores. Many manufacturers produce
a lesser quality version of the same product you will find in a
designer showroom. You can tell by checking the manufacturer’s
UPC code and comparing them. MyHome is an official distributor of

take responsibility for the coordination, confirmation and delivery
of all materials you purchase through us.
Ordering & Supply
Since there are so many types of items, they need to be specified
and ordered properly, usually from many different suppliers. MyHome
handles this process for all materials used in your bathroom renovation
project. We’ll also manage the timing and delivery, and make
you aware of potentially long lead times for specialty and custom
items that are not stocked and must be made to order.
Delivery
After ordering, you will need to rely on various suppliers to deliver
your products in a timely manner. Timing is very important because
the construction phase should not begin until all items are delivered
to the site. The last thing you want is a toilet bowl sitting in
your living room 4 weeks before it can be installed. MyHome ensures
this process goes smoothly by accepting delivery and confirming
that the correct items have arrived, storing the items until the
project begins, delivering them to the site as needed, and replacing
anything that is broken, defective or incorrect. Our handling of
materials helps to avoid the delays that can occur if you begin
construction before you have all of the materials, minimizing time
wasted.
Installation
Smaller bathrooms usually only allow for one craftsman to work at
a time, which can lengthen the construction process. Tile work is
quite challenging, and requires highly skilled trades’ people.
It’s tough to make tile line up, because in most case the
walls and ceilings are not 100% straight (especially in older buildings).
In most newly remodeled bathrooms people desire to install borders,
accent tiles, and other specialty tiles such as mosaics. These items
require special expertise and patience during installation. Additionally,
bathroom remodeling requires a great deal of plumbing and electrical
work that needs to be performed by certified and licensed professionals.
Lastly, you must make sure that the proper materials are used in
your project because your bathroom is exposed to heat, humidity,
dampness and water. If the necessary materials are not used (such
as tile backer-board, high quality thin set, good grout, mildewcide
paint and other essential products), issues may occur in the future.
