To Whom It May Concern,
My husband and I hired MyHome to design and renovate
two bathrooms in an apartment that we recently
purchased in Manhattan. We also had them paint
the entire apartment, refinish the hardwood floors
and install several lighting fixtures and ceiling
fans. We interviewed several contractors, and
we were most impressed with MyHome due to their
responsiveness, skill and experience. We could
not be more pleased with the work that MyHome
did under the direction of Inna Smertenko and
Jesse Rabinowitz. Jesse, Inna and their team worked
professionally and diligently to complete the
project within our extremely stringent deadline.
Most importantly, the end result of the work is
a stunning, transformed apartment.
Our initial contacts with MyHome were primarily
handled by Inna, our MyHome project designer.
Inna was always quick to return our calls and
emails, and handled our many questions like a
seasoned professional. Inna also took the initial
measurements, helped us evaluate the bathrooms,
and assisted us with designing spaces that would
be within our budget and reflect our tastes. We
met with Inna several times to choose materials,
and she was always very helpful in guiding us
to items that fit our parameters. She also went
above and beyond the call of duty, searching for
substitute materials when something we wanted
was not available and pushing vendors to deliver
goods within our very tight time schedule. Inna
is a highly talented designer and a wonderful
advocate for her customers.
Once the design and material selection were complete,
Jesse stepped in to oversee the work at the apartment.
Under his watchful eye, the workers and subcontractors
kept to a strict schedule. Despite a few unexpected
bumps in the road, Jesse kept a level head at
all times, and kept the job on schedule while
refusing to sacrifice the quality of the work.
He kept us in the loop at all times, holding regular
meetings with us and frequently updating us via
email and telephone on the progress of the demolition
and construction. He was also sensitive to our
many concerns about the process (being both first-time
homeowners and first-time renovators!). When Jesse
anticipated or noticed any type of problem, he
dealt with it swiftly and ably. Further, he quickly
responded to our concern about moving in just
after the construction by sending a cleaning service
to scrub the entire apartment up and down just
prior to our move, free of charge. Although a
few details had to be finished up after our move,
thanks to Jesse we got settled in our new home
with functional bathrooms, which had been completed
in less than one month!
The end product of MyHome's work speaks for itself.
Our apartment is utterly transformed from what
it was before their work. The paint job, the refinished
floors and the bathrooms have made our new apartment
into a warm and welcoming home. We are so appreciative
of Inna and Jesse's hard work. Our investment
will surely pay off in the future as well.I would
highly recommend MyHome, and particularly Inna
and Jesse, to anyone and everyone. Indeed, my
husband and I plan to call them again in a year,
when we will be renovating our kitchen!
