The finished design pairs white subway wall tile with gray flooring, light wood-tone cabinetry, and matte-black hardware for a high-contrast look. Rather than introducing multiple decorative finishes, the bathroom relies on a small group of materials carried consistently across the shower and vanity areas. The result gives each functional element its own definition while maintaining visual continuity throughout the room.

Final Project Reveal

The completed bathroom is anchored by a glass-enclosed shower lined with white subway tile and finished with contrasting dark grout. Smaller-format gray tile defines the shower floor, while the clear glass enclosure keeps the shower visually connected to the rest of the compact bathroom.

Matte-black fixtures provide the strongest contrast throughout the space, appearing at the shower, vanity, enclosure hardware, and towel bar. A light wood-tone vanity with a white integrated sink and countertop introduces a warmer element against the otherwise white, gray, and black palette.

The recessed niche is integrated directly into the tiled wall and finished with a contrasting dark shelf.

Vanity & Integrated Bathroom Storage

Opposite the shower, the bathroom uses a light wood-tone vanity with black pulls, a broad white sink and countertop, and a matte-black single-handle faucet.
